About Me
- Name: Bridget McGann
- Location: Indiana, United States
This blog chronicles the epic adventures of a very awesome anthropologist...er, anthropology student. Topics this blog will cover include: the anthropology of human birth and babies (my research area), science nerdiness and advocacy for both science and informational literacy in the information age, and general musings on being a "non-traditional" student and female embarking on a career in academia. About me: I am a grad-school bound undergraduate at Indiana University majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Psychology. My research interests include: Critical medical anthropology of the U.S. childbirth system, ethnopediatrics, and human/primate prosocial and caregiving behavior. As of May 2013 I am just finishing up undergrad and beginning to look at grad programs. I can be contacted at bamcgann@umail.iu.edu
