Anthropology undergrad who aspires to awesomeness in everything I do. Among my research interests: Childbirth Practices, Critical Anthropology of Western Childbirth Systems, Ethnopediatrics, the culture of surgeons, Obstetrical Dilemma, Technocratic Childbirth, infant and child development. Anthropologists whose work I follow: James McKenna, Sarah Blaffer Hrdy, Wenda Travethan, Katherine Dettwyler. My dream is to go on to grad school, but a disorder of the frontal lobe sometimes makes this a sisyphean task. Active on: Reddit, SomethingAwful, and Ravelry.
